In 1997， according to the meeting resolution of the 97th Beijing Municipal Government executive meeting, STMT was founded with joint investment from BITCC and Siemens and contributed greatly to Siemens Limited China headquarter settling down in Beijing. During this period, BITCC transferred 80% shareholdings of the real estate.
